Jurnal Didaktik Matematika is a scientific journal in mathematics teaching and learning, technology in mathematics teaching and learning, and mathematics realistic education. 

The scope of the journal includes:

  1. Mathematics teaching and learning in primary school, high school and higher education. 
  2. Technology in mathematics teaching and learning
  3. Teacher professional development in mathematics
  4. Innovative mathematics teaching and learning applying various approaches such as realistics approach, contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach and many others.
  5. Studies related to mathematics teaching and learning in a broader context

Peer Review Process

The policies of Jurnal Didaktik Matematika:

  1. Each article received will be reviewed 
  2. Blind Review is applied in the review process, meaning that the reviewers have no information of the authors' identity
  3. In the review process, the reviewers provide some consideration related to the coherence of title, abstract, discussion of findings, and conclusion. Reviewers also considers the novelty and scientific impact of the manuscript as well as the references used.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supporting a global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethics

 

Jurnal Didaktik Matematika is a periodical scientific journal that publishes current original research and studies in the field of mathematics, mathematics learning and technology, mathematics education, and realistic mathematics education

The Responsibilities of Editor

  1. The editor is responsible for deciding articles that are eligible to be published through board meetings. The editor is guided by the editorial policy of the journal and is limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
  2. In the process of receiving articles, the editing team is based on the principle of equality of treatment.
  3. In the review process of journal and decision-making of publication (articles), the editing team does not distinguish race, gender, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, or political ideology of the author.
  4. Editor and editorial team will not disclose any information about the submitted paper or articles except with the author's permission.
  5. Unpublished (article) papers will not be used for the editor's research and will be returned directly to the author.

The Responsibilities of the Reviewer
Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions on submitted papers/articles

  1. Reviewer is responsible for the review recommendations
  2. Review of paper is done objectively and supported by clear arguments.
  3. A reviewer is responsible for quotes, references, and plagiarism for articles reviewed.
  4. Reviewer keeps the confidentiality of information for personal gain.

The Responsibilities of author

  1. The author must present his or her article of thought or research, honestly, and without plagiarism, and data manipulation.
  2. The author is responsible for the submitted confirmation of the articles that have been written.
  3. The author must comply with the requirements of the publication in the form of originality of the work, not plagiarism, and the paper/article has not been published in other journals or publications.
  4. The author points out the references of the cited opinions and works of others
  5. The author writes the paper or article ethically, honestly and responsibly, by applicable scientific authorship rules.
  6. Authors are prohibited from sending/publishing the same article in more than one journal or publication.
  7. The author does not object if the paper goes through editing without changing the substance or basic idea of writing.

The Responsibilities of Publisher

  1. Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika as a publisher of Jurnal Didaktik Matematika is responsible for publishing articles after going through the process of editing, peer review, layout in accordance with the rules of publishing scientific journals.
  2. Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika as a publisher of Jurnal Didaktik Matematika is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for editors and reviewers in carrying out their duties.
  3. Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika as a publisher of Jurnal Didaktik Matematika is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, and editorial freedom.

 

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.

 

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission Charges: 0.00 (IDR)

 Article Processing Charges: 0.00 (IDR)

 Article Publication Charges: 0.00 (IDR)

Every article submitted to JDM will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles.

 JDM have no Waiver Policy.

Aside the free electronic version, JDM also available in printed version with certain amouts of charge. Each published issue have different production cost and shipping cost.

 

Plagiarism Check

JDM Editorial Board will ensure that every published article will not exceed 25% similarity Score. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by JDM Editorial Board using Turnitin Aplication

 

Reference Management

Every article submitted to JDM shall use reference management software e.g. EndNote® or Mendeley.
